How to Get DMCC Visa?

A DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre) licensed company should guarantee that its employees are approved to work in the DMCC Free Zone by whether holding an access approval, an employment residence visa or an identity card, except if they are under the sponsorship of their father, mother, husband or if they are from the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries, in which case, they are given an identity card. Employment residence visa of the DMCC is valid for 3 years.

The application procedure varies for all scenario
1. If the candidate is outside the nation.

2. If the candidate is inside the United Arab Emirates through canceled visa/visit visa/tourist visa and applied as inside the nation without amendment.

In such a case, a candidate will apply for the Entry Permit while he/she is still inside UAE, during the procedure, he/she can leave the nation and wait for the Entry Permit to be given and sent to him/her electronically, at that point, he/she can enter the nation by using the Entry Permit. On the other hand, the candidate can remain inside the nation until the Entry Permit is given (the candidate should make sure not to overstay in the nation while the Entry Permit is under procedure to avoid fines), then, he/she can collect it from the organization, leave the nation, and then re-enter using this Entry Permit.

3. If the candidate is joining from an LLC organization or is enlisted under the Labor Ministry, the candidate should cancel his/her past Residence Permit and finish the procedure of acquiring another Employment Residence Visa through DMCC.

If the candidate has entered the UAE through a tourist visa/visit visa, he/she can apply for a new DMCC employment entry permit and change the previous status to the latest.

4. If the candidate is inside UAE and is joining a DMCC Company from another free zone/government organization/inside DMCC Free Zone, the candidate has the choice to move his/her residence permit to the new DMCC Company.

Note:

  • All candidates’ details must be entered according to the passport information.
  • Passport validity should be a minimum of 8 months while applying for the employment entry.
  • All the designations should be supported by a significant educational certificate, attested by the MOFA in Dubai.
  • If the candidate is an investor of the organization with least 50 shares, just a copy of the Shares Certificate should be uploaded instead of the educational certificate.
  • Entry Permit is valid only for 60 days and it can’t be renewed and should be canceled once expired.
  • Some candidates may face a delay in Entry Permit issuance due to DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre) and GDRFA (General Directorate of Residence and Foreigners Affairs) approval procedures.
  • Company establishment card and license should be valid to apply for the service request.
  • All applications will be subject to Dubai’s GDRFA rules as well as regulations
